Deleting your data

You can delete your RawKit data yourself, at any time, without asking us. This page lists every route, what each one removes, and what survives it.

The binding retention and legal-basis detail is in section 9 of the Privacy Policy. This page is the practical version.

Disconnect a social platform

Removes RawKit's access to a connected LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook / Instagram), X or Reddit account.

  1. Open the application and go to the connector settings of your workspace.
  2. Find the connected account and choose Disconnect.

The stored access and refresh tokens are marked revoked and the credentials are deleted immediately. RawKit can no longer read from or post to that account.

You can also revoke access from the platform's side, in its connected-apps or business-integrations settings. Doing it there stops all further access even if you cannot reach RawKit.

What this does not do: posts already published stay published, and engagement metrics already retrieved stay with the publication record until you delete that record. To remove a published post, delete it on the platform.

Delete individual content

Files, boards, conversations and publications can each be deleted where you find them in the application. Deletion cascades: deleting a board also deletes its update history, its conversations and their search index entries.

Because board history is stored as an append-only log, content you delete from inside a board remains recoverable in that board's history until the board itself is deleted. Delete the board if you need the content gone.

Delete your entire account

  1. Open the application and go to your account settings.
  2. Choose Delete account and confirm.

This runs one cascade and cannot be undone:

  • files in object storage for every workspace of which you are the sole member;
  • those workspaces, and with them their boards, board history, conversations, search index, connectors and publications;
  • your account, sessions and credentials.

Workspaces that still have other members are kept — only your membership is removed. Content you contributed to a shared workspace stays with that workspace, because the remaining members are its controllers too.

Ask us to delete it

If you cannot reach the application, email service@ml-canvas.com from the address registered to your account and say what you want deleted. We reply within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests, and we will tell you if we need the extension.

This is also the route for the other rights in Article 15 to 21 GDPR — access, rectification, restriction, portability and objection.

Requests sent by a platform

If you remove the RawKit integration from inside your Facebook or Instagram account settings, Meta sends us a deletion request on your behalf. We honour it the same way as a manual disconnect: the connector is disconnected, its stored credentials are deleted, and the data we hold about that connection is deleted.

You do not need to do anything else after removing the integration there.

What deletion cannot reach

  • Backups. Database backups are kept for 14 days for disaster recovery. Deleted data may persist in a backup until it rotates out. Backups are never used to restore individual deleted records.
  • Accounting records. Once an invoice exists, sections 212 UGB and 132 BAO require us to keep the accounting record for seven years. Those records are blocked from ordinary use and kept only to meet that obligation.
  • The platforms themselves. Anything you published is held by that platform under its own privacy policy. Delete it there.
  • Third-party model providers. A prompt you sent to a model provider was processed by them under their own terms; see sections 5 to 7 of the Privacy Policy.
